“Free” alarm systems are the industry’s dirtiest trick.
Companies that give “FREE” systems are simply hiding the equipment cost in a high monthly rate of $50-$90/mo under contract. They’ll claim it’s a way to finance the equipment for you to reduce your upfront cost. First of all, that proves it wasn’t really “FREE” in the first place, but lets talk about that. If they are financing it for you, shouldn’t your monthly rate go back down after the equipment is paid off? It doesn’t. You will be stuck overpaying for 3-5 years, and your contract will auto renew. We’ve been around since ’78, and we know what parts really cost. That equipment is actually paid off within the first year! With us, you may pay a little more upfront, but you’ll pay a lot less long term. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for, no secrets.
We offer transparent pricing.
With us, you know what you’re REALLY paying for. The equipment price is separate from the monthly monitoring rate. Once the equipment is paid for, all you have left is our low monthly rate. No contract. If you do the math over a typical 36 month term like most companies require, you’ll find we’re a MUCH better deal.

Most companies nickel and dime you on the monthly rate. Not us.

FAQs
You can find devices like thermostats, cameras, lights, and locks with their own free individual apps, but they won’t connect or work with your alarm system. Also, how many apps do you want on your phone? We offer all of these services combined into 1 single app. Most of what you’re paying for is the dual-path connection (cellular+wifi) you have with our 24HR monitoring station that will dispatch the authorities within seconds of an emergency. Most companies charge $50-$100/Month, with a long term contract, for similar service. Not us!
Yes! Your system will automatically notify you if your home loses power, and it will also update you once the power is back on. That’s good to know if you have pets or perishable items in your home!
Yes! You have many notification options. Your system can be configured to notify you each time the door is opened, closed, locked, unlocked, and/or if a door is left open for a certain amount of time.
Yes! Our 7″ touchscreen has a camera built-in camera that can be configured to automatically text you a disarm photo!
Yes, at a minimum you’ll need 2 mbps for download and upload for the touchscreen panel, even without cameras added to the system. This will allow for optimal dual path connection to our monitoring station.
If you add 1 camera, you’ll need at least 5 mbps upload speed. Add 5 mbps upload for each additional camera that you add.
A wifi extender, booster, or mesh network may be needed if your wifi doesn’t have enough speed or range. Especially for outdoor cameras and doorbell cameras.
Realistically, you need 5 mbps upload (not download) per camera, at the location of the camera. So if you’re looking to add an outdoor camera, or doorbell camera, you’ll need to run your speed test outside at that location. Example: if you would like a doorbell camera, 1 indoor camera, and 2 outdoor cameras, your upload speed should be at least 20 mbps (5mbps x 4 cameras).

That isn’t something that we allow for a few reasons. We can’t maintain a part warranty, and learning a device into your system/Alarm.com app can be very time consuming for our tech support department to help you with. It’s best to purchase devices from us (we have very competitive rates), and allow a professional technician install it.
To work with the Alarm.com platform and app, they require that they be one of their cameras. We sell and install these models: ADC-V522IR & ADC-V722W. Both models need a power outlet to function. If you currently have one of these models, they will need to be detached from your current Alarm.com account, before it will allow us to add it to your new account with us.
